Q. What is the process to acquire a Resale Certificate from Taylor Management?

A. The Attorney (generally the buyers attorney) orders the Resale Certificate from Taylor Management. This can be done through the Association office.

Q. How do I contact the different departments in Shadow Lake Village?

A. The Association Office can be reached at 732-842-9580 Mondays through Fridays from 9AM to 5PM. Security can be reached at 732-842-7977, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Q. How is responsibility shared between the Homeowner and the Association for the maintenance of the home?

A. Please check pages 6 & 7 of your Rules & Regulations book (also available on the web-site). For any additional questions, call the Association Office at the number above.

Q. When will my assessment coupons arrive?

A. All homeowners purchasing a unit after April 2004 are required to participate in Direct Debit. Those residents still mailing coupons will receive their coupon books for the following year by mail in December.

Q. What is the cost to use the golf course and the pool?

A. There is no charge for residents who wish to use the golf course or pool. Single residents are entitled to one free guest. Additional guests will be billed the regular rate. All residents are required to sign-in golf guests at the gazebo near the 1st hole and will be invoiced the following month. Residents must purchase either daily or seasonal guest passes for the pool and are required to pay by check at the time of the guest pass purchase. Please call the Association Office for guest pass amounts for both the pool and golf course.

Q. How do I dispose of my garbage and recycling?

A. Regular garbage pick up is Monday and Thursday. Trash should be bagged and placed in your garbage can in your assigned garbage bin. Cardboard must be flattened and placed in or near your garbage bin and will be picked up with your regular trash. Please do not leave cardboard at the recycling area. Glass, aluminum, plastic and newspapers are recycled. Bins are located in the large "tennis court" parking lot. The Association offers small bulk pick up at no charge to the resident every other Wednesday of the month. Please call the Association Office for pick up dates and to request a pick up. Please note that this pick up is for small bulk items such as microwaves and computers. Residents with larger bulk items must contract to have them removed on their own.

Q. How do I request a Maintenance work order?

A. All requests for service should be made by telephone by calling the Association Office, or by written work order request. Forms are available at the Association Office, or may be printed from the "Documents" section of this web site.

Q. What options do I have for TV service?

A. All residents in the Village have the choice of using either Comcast or Verizon for their TV service. Residents should contact the provider of their choice to sign up for service.

Q. I want to make an alteration to my unit, what is the process?

A. Any resident wishing to make any alteration or modification in the structure of any residential unit or building, or the appearance and/or color of any residential building exterior must secure permission from the Architectural Control Committee by submitting a Property Modification Request Form, available at the Association Office, or from the "Documents" section of this web site. It is strongly recommended that a resident review the Architectural Control Guidelines before beginning work on a unit to be sure they are not in violation of the Guidelines.
